Zarmanazan is a creative Western Armenian language immersion program.
Our methodology places Armenian at the center of daily life and all activities. Using a creative, and interactive approach we welcome participants regardless of their prior language proficiency.

For Whom is Zarmanazan?
Zarmanazan programs are open to all children, young adults and teachers in the Diaspora.
Every participant is encouraged to take initiative, develop at their own pace, and create collaboratively.
Our facilitators specialize in maintaining a safe and engaging language acquisition environment while contributing their expertise in artistic, cultural, educational and sporting domains.
Following online pre-meetings for initial introductions and small-group activities, participants convene in a natural setting for several weeks of communal living and sharing during the summer.

Young adults are invited to help organize the stay and take an active role in daily life. They may also join facilitators in workshops for minors. Activities include:
This program is designed for current and future teachers of Western Armenian in bilingual schools worldwide, including Europe (Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece), the Middle East (Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Israel), the Americas (US, Canada, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil), and Australia.
This program aims to enhance the training of both current and future teachers by enabling them to acquire knowledge and skills tailored to their professional practice. It fosters a sensitivity to the challenges within their field, the ability to critically evaluate their own teaching methods, and a commitment to actively engaging in a personalized continuous professional development plan.
